British sizing runs two numbers above American sizing, so a UK 8 is a US 4. If you are shopping a British label from the United States, that one fact prevents most sizing mistakes.

Kovelle sizes are shown in UK numbers in the United Kingdom and in US numbers in the United States and Canada, so you always shop in the sizing you know. The conversion is two sizes down from UK to US.

How to measure
- Bust. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms down.
- Waist. The narrowest point, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, feet together.
Measure over underwear, not over clothes, and keep the tape snug rather than tight. If you are between two sizes, size up in anything fitted or boned and size down in anything oversized.
